Plugging the SuperDrive on an earlier MacBookPro10,1 still with macOS Mojave 10.14.6, the CDs /DVDs mount perfectly. I can eject the CD/DVD either from Disk Utility, or enabling, under System Preferences -> CDs & DVDs -> "show eject in menu bar". Using Disk Utility I do see the the drive, and the CD, however it will not mount. ![]() Today I popped an old CD on the SuperDrive, looking for work pictures I took, and it will not mount whatsoever.Īpple USB SuperDrive 0x1500 0x05ac (Apple Inc.) ![]() I have been archiving on CD's almost thirty years of my life with files, programs, emails, work projects of all sorts.
